Americans are dumb. Okay, not all Americans, but it’s hard to not associate them with stupidity when they do stupid things like protesting the closure of gyms due to COVID-19 lockdown rules and the protesters end up working out on the street as part of said protest.
Australia isn’t completely innocent either, but only in ‘Murica will there be something as ridiculous as a COVID-19 lockdown protester wearing nothing but surgical face masks as a bikini in the name of “art.”

A performance artist going by the name of DaVida Sal decided to put on a demonstration in protest of those COVID-19 lockdown rules that have been keeping her safe.
But rather than do push ups in front of a gym or smash her TV, she decided to rock up to a Trader Joe’s and parade around wearing nothing but a bikini made of surgical face masks and sharing her “performance” onto Facebook along with why she doesn’t believe in social distancing.
The bikini definitely didn’t leave much to the imagination but in her defence, she did wear a face mask on her face… albeit over her eyes instead of her nose and mouth.
As for why DaVida Sal would go parading around wearing only face masks, well a) she’s an artist and b) she believes COVID-19 is a hoax created to deprive people of their freedoms. Oh and she’s also an anti-vaxxer.
Yeah, she’s one of those moronic lunatics.
Unsurprisingly, this ‘artist” copped a heap of backlash on Facebook and was savagely raked through the coals for being an idiotic “Karen” over her COVID-19 beliefs and for wasting face masks for a pointless protest. Her “art” wasn’t too well received critically either.
Given how America is being led by a big orange baby who is almost seemingly trying to get people killed during this pandemic, it was perhaps only a matter of time that face mask bikinis became a thing.
It almost seems redundant at this point but out of a sense of responsibility, I shall say it anyway: COVID-19 is serious and it doesn’t care how young or fit you are, so stay vigilant and responsible as we slowly get through this.
Oh America. How the mighty have fallen so dramatically. Seeing the world’s biggest superpower be reduced to global butt monkey would normally be hilarious if it wasn’t happening during such depressing circumstances.
