Of all the world’s mysteries, there is one that continues to baffle many. It’s a heated debate that pops up time and time again with little to no resolution. We’re talking about the age old question: who is the best celebrity Chris?
Since the last time we discussed this topic, a lot has changed. In the world of celebrities called Chris, we’ve seen marriages, breakups, blockbusters and Instagram blunders, and therefore the standings for 2020’s ‘best’ Chris have slightly changed.
Here’s a rundown of where our fave celebrity Chris’s now sit on the totem pole:
4. Chris Pratt
A few years ago, Chris Pratt would have been near the top of this list. He won us over as loveable goof Andy in Parks and Recreation and quickly became a svelte daddy in Guardians of the Galaxy. Sadly, a lot has happened since then.
Many hearts broke in 2018 when Chris Pratt announced he was parting ways with wife Anna Faris – but it just got worse. A year later, Pratt landed in hot water when he was snapped wearing a ‘white supermacist’ t-shirt and divided fans with this Instagram ‘poem’ about the left and right uniting under God. Perhaps the cherry on top of an already unfavourable cake was his speedy marriage to Arnie’s daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, whose cooking skills he once shamed on social media.
3. Chris Pine
Chris Pine is incredibly underrated, but sadly, he still places second-last on this list of the best celebrity Chris. He’s handsome and he’s incredibly talented – so why aren’t we talking about him more? Pine has been appearing on silver and small screens since 2003 in everything from
Star Trek to Jack Ryan and Wonder Woman – yet it feels like we know so little about him as a person.
2. Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth earns a solid third place on this list. Why? He’s repping it for the Aussies, he gets more and more handsome as each year passes, and recently, he’s become an integral part of the MCU. Hemsworth made a name for himself as the hunky and strong Thor, but in last year’s Avengers: Endgame, beer-bellied ‘Fat Thor’ became a much-loved icon of the franchise and proved Hemsworth didn’t take himself as seriously as we all thought he did.
1. Chris Evans
Is there a more perfect and well-rounded Chris than Chris Evans? Evidently not. Over the past couple of decades, Chris Evans has gone from romantic comedy poster boy to bona fide Hollywood heavyweight, all the while remaining incredibly humble and true to himself. In the last few years, Evans has skyrocketed to global stardom as Captain America in The Avengers – but don’t let the muscles and shield fool you.
Evans’ short-lived yet utterly adorable relationship with comedian Jenny Slate, his endearing social media presence, hilarious interview style and even his DOG are just a few reasons he’s 2020’s best celebrity Chris.
