Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige has done some amazing work with the MCU, bringing a whole heap of beloved comic book characters to life in live-action movies, but he’ll soon be turning his attention to the Star Wars universe – and Chris Evans wants to be part of it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Feige has a “major actor” in mind to star in his Star Wars films, with rumours that person is Captain Marvel star Brie Larson, but Captain America‘s Evans has volunteered himself for the job.
After hanging up his shield and passing the mantle of Captain America on to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, Avengers: Endgame marked Evans’ last appearance as Steve Rogers.
That means he’s got a lot more free time on his hands, and as a huge Star Wars fan, he’s making it known that he’s interested in a role in Feige’s next project.
And I don’t know about you, but any movie (or series of movies) that allows me to look at Chris Evans is a movie I want to watch.
