Each year, The Bachelorette throws us a few curveballs, but this week has been particularly shocking. Not only were we confronted with a confusing new addition to the English language, but a seriously cringeworthy Photoshop fail.
If you’ve been playing along, you’d be well aware of Jamie the firefighter and his stage five clinger antics (his words, not ours). Over the course of the last few weeks, Jamie has not only gone next level intense in order to win Angie’s heart, but he’s now quite literally making up words.
Twitter fans have noticed Jamie dropping the word “ingenuine” over and over again, which is sadly, not a word that exists.
One Twitter user wrote, “Jamie is hard to stomach at the best of times but he just tried to use ‘ingenuine’ as a word and that’s me done,” and another turned it into a drinking game, “I’ve had a drink every time Jamie says ingenuine.”
Even Bachelorette host Osher got involved, tweeting, “THE WOrD Is NoT INGENUINE.”
Is anyone going to pull Jamie aside, sit him down and tell him that he’s completely fabricated a new word?
The firefighter isn’t the only ingenuine Bachelorette contestant to make waves this week. Jackson – the guy who almost poisoned Angie with meat and gluten when he entered the show – has been called out for Photoshopping himself into an Instagram pic with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The photo, which was uncovered by the Daily Mail and was posted 2016, shows Jackson arm-in-arm with Leo DiCaprio in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. At the time, Jackson defended the legitimacy of the photo when his followers called out it’s “ingenuine” (for lack of a better word) appearance.
Fast-forward to this week when Daily Mail asked him to confirm his meeting with Leo was legit, the Bachie contestant said, “Photoshopped hahaha.”
WELL THEN! Who is being genuine on The Bachelorette? Jamie, or Jackson? Or neither?
We’re just going to have to wait and see.
