Just when you think we’ve hit an unprecedented level of ridiculousness in the whole Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial drama, somehow the pair continue to one-up themselves because the latest revelation to come out of this messy battle is that the actor got his fingertip severed during a massive row and it’s lying around in a house in Australia somewhere.

We know from Johnny Depp’s previous testimonies during the trial that his fingertip was indeed severed during a violent row with ex-wife Amber Heard, but new details from the actor’s former estate manager Ben King (via Deadline) revealed that the incident occurred when the former couple were staying in Australia and he was called in for a quick post-fight clean-up operation.
According to Deadline, King testified in support of Depp and alleged that after a violent altercation in which Heard allegedly threw a vodka bottle at the actor and sliced the top of his middle finger off. Heard disputes this claim and alleges the actor hurt himself when he smashed a phone into a wall though King doesn’t recall
When asked if he was tasked with finding his pal’s missing fingertip, King danced around it for a bit before admitting that he indeed was tasked with the grisly chore, saying “It was mentioned that it may be somewhere and when I was clearing up I found it.”
King says Depp’s missing fingertip was found near the house’s bar area with a trail of blood spots leading upstairs to a bedroom.
Messy doesn’t even begin to describe this whole Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial, but we just have one question about this incredibly weird incident: where in Australia is the fingertip now?
Did King flush it down the toilet? Throw it in the bin? Hid it somewhere in that house in Australia? Buried it in the backyard? Or did he hand it to doctors in a bag of ice when they tended to Depp at the hospital? It’s perhaps something we’ll never know, like what happened to Depp’s many millions.
The trial is still ongoing at the time of writing and based on what’s been revealed so far, we’re in for the most bizarre and horrendous celebrity ride that’s occurred in quite some time.
