Another day, another YouTube feud. Now that Tati Westbrook has uploaded a video called ‘BREAKING MY SILENCE…’ a follow up to the infamous ‘BYE SISTER’ video, we’re mentally preparing ourselves for another cycle of news involving these YouTubers. Since these YouTubers are never letting this tired drama die, we thought we’d check into exactly how much these YouTubers make and their overall net worth. The answers are surprisingly spare.

But, before we do, we spoke about all this drama on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

Let’s dive in.

Tati Westbrook

Let’s kick things off with the person that’s trending the most today, Tati Westbrook. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Tati Westbrook has a net worth of $6 Million USD (calculated in 2019). After launching her YouTube channel in 2010, Tati Westbrook has uploaded more than 1,000 videos, earned more than nine million subscribers and raked in over a billion views. Celebrity Net Worth reports that Tati makes between $1 and $2 million USD per year, off of YouTube alone and makes millions more from her other make-up ventures.

Shane Dawson

Next on our list is Shane Dawson, a YouTube veteran who has only recently entered the beauty-blogger world through Jeffree Star. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Shane Dawson has a net worth of $12 million USD (calculated in 2019). Shane Dawson has three YouTube channels, his most notable one (@shane) has over 22 million subscribers and has raked in 4 billion views. While Shane Dawson is most known for his documentary-style exposé videos on YouTube, his collaboration with Jeffree Star contributed the most to his net-worth. Having said that, due to recent controversies, the collaboration in question was dropped from Morphe’s official website.

James Charles

Up next is the YouTuber who reinvented the word “sisters,” James Charles. According to Celebrity Net Worth, James Charles has a net worth of $22 Million USD (calculated in 2020). After launching his YouTube channel in 2015, James Charles has uploaded almost 300 videos, earned almost 20 million subscribers and raked in over two billion views. He’s estimated to be making $5 million USD per year for his YouTube videos with more money coming from his endorsements, (such as CoverGirl) make-up collaborations (such as his collab with Morphe) and his ‘Sisters’ merchandise.

Jeffree Star

Ending our list is the YouTuber who makes more money than all of the last three combined, Jeffree Star. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jeffree Star has a net worth of $200 Million USD (calculated in 2020), which is absolutely insane. After launching his YouTube channel in 2006, Jeffree Star has uploaded almost 400 videos, earned almost 18 million subscribers and raked in over two billion views. While this YouTuber has had a career in music in the past, the majority of his money comes from his make-up company, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, which reportedly makes him an annual gross revenue is north of $100 million USD. Hot damn.

The YouTuber Drama Is Far From Over As James Charles Faces Sexual Assault Allegations

“It’s a YouTuber. It’s credible.”

A few days ago, YouTuber Blaire White uploaded a video to YouTube, discussing sexual assault allegations towards James Charles.

We spoke about this YouTuber drama on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

In the video titled, ‘Bye Jeffree Star. You’re A Monster. (MY EXPERIENCE)’, Blaire White spends the majority of the video going into detail about her relationship with Jeffree Star, including the instance where, during their first phone call, Jeffree Star allegedly showed her his ‘receipts’ that paint James Charles as a predator.

When Tati Westbrook made her infamous video outing instances of James’ predatory behaviour towards straight men, Jeffree Star took to Twitter to tease that he had more ‘receipts’ of James Charles’ “manipulative” behaviour.

While Jeffree Star didn’t talk openly about what he knew about James Charles then, he has since played these ‘receipts’ to YouTuber Blaire White privately, who is now taking the story public.

Blaire White says in her video, “He… provided me with receipts (in the form) of a voice memo from a YouTuber who was allegedly sexually molested by James Charles and it’s credible. It’s a YouTuber. It’s credible. It is not my place to out this YouTuber’s name at all.”

“So, I’m in shock after being given this information by Jeffree and then Jeffree proceeds to tell me, James will never attack me because I have this on him, I have shit on everyone.” – Blaire White

Blaire White then continues to talk about how she reached out to this YouTuber privately, saying: “I have privately reached out to this YouTuber and said ‘hey, I’m a rape survivor myself’, because I am, ‘and I should have never have been told this but I want to let you know it’s okay to go public with your story, it’s okay to be heard, or even just to talk to me if you need to because I am a survivor myself.’” You can watch the full video here.

Blaire White continued in her video, saying that Jeffree Star had other serious allegations that he was intentionally not bringing to light, instead, using it as blackmail. She said, “And if you think it couldn’t get any worse, it most definitely does, Jeffree then revealed to me, someone else, a very famous YouTuber, who – I’ll use the word – raped someone, did he provide me with receipts of that one? No. Do I personally think it’s credible? Yes.”

Neither James Charles nor Jeffree Star have responded to the video or the sexual assault allegations in it.

Jameela Jamil Says She’s Done Dissing Kim K In A Statement That Disses Her

"I’ve received over 1000 DMs asking me to address this."

Could Jameela Jamil’s feud with Kim Kardashian finally be over?

Whether you know Jameela Jamil as Tahani Al-Jamil from The Good Place, the person who came out as queer during a very problematic time or the person who had a vicious feud with Caroline Calloway, Jameela Jamil has cemented herself as a very problematic star

We spoke about the Kardashians on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

When The Good Place debuted, we all added it to our lists on Netflix and suddenly Jameela Jamil became a household name. Since her skyrocket to mainstream success, Jameela Jamil has made a habit of trying to use her platform for good and calling out problematic behaviour wherever she saw fit.

As you can imagine, we’ve seen her mainly call out unrealistic body-standards and potentially dangerous spon-con from Kim Kardashian and the rest of the clan. But, now it looks like she’s done and dusted with that in a new statement made to social media.

Kim Kardashian recently posted a throwback video of herself getting ready for last year’s Met Gala and it copped a reshare from Jameela Jamil. “I’ve received over 1000 DMs asking me to address this,” Jameela Jamil opens her statement, assuming that her fans have been expecting a comment on Kim’s impossibly cinched waist. What follows is a very lengthy statement where Jameela Jamil says she will no longer diss Kim Kardashian, whilst simultaneously dissing Kim Kardashian.

Jameela Jamil continued, “The reason I didn’t jump on it immediately isn’t because I don’t think the post was damaging and disappointing. I do. It’s because (of) the fact that you’re all messaging me about it, shows my work is done.”

Jameela Jamil then discusses her intentions behind her posts about Kim Kardashian, saying: “I haven’t been trying to cancel Kim K. I was always trying to arm YOU with the knowledge to recognize for YOURSELVES that this is a bullshit expectation of women, developed by the patriarchy. If YOU know that it’s problematic, reductive and irresponsible for her to perpetrate such a heavily impossible beauty standard to her impressionable fans… then you’re empowered and conscious and don’t need me.”

“BLOCK. MUTE. DELETE. REPEAT. Follow activists, writers, artists and comedians instead.”

You can read the rest of the empowering, anti-patriarchy, anti-Kim Kardashian post here:

Now, Jameela Jamil says she’s done with dissing Kim Kardashian. But, we can’t help but point out that she literally disses the reality star under the same breath. We hope that this post marks the end of this feud, but honestly, given Kim Kardashian’s influence on Jameela Jamil’s social media posts in recent years, not to mention her current status in 2020 discourse, we find it rather unlikely that this will be the last Kardashian post to come out of Jamil. But, who knows what the future will hold…
