If you pondered to yourself today, “I wonder what Paris Hilton is up to?”, you have an answer. The O.G. influencer has thrown her singing career aside and is en route to pursue cooking. No, we’re not joking. Ms Hilton has just uploaded a 16-minute cooking vlog showing us how to cook lasagne. You can watch the whole thing here:
Now, all jokes aside, it’s hard to know if this video is serious or not. Initially, the video seems serious; it’s shot well, it’s well lit, everything seems to be going well. That is, until she starts cooking. Immediately the 00’s icon complains that she doesn’t know where anything is because its the first time she’s cooked in the kitchen. Also, she’s displeased that she has to shred her own cheese. Whether it’s a joke video or not, I was thoroughly entertained.
Additionally, it must be noted that Paris is back with more iconic fashion moments, this time taking the form of the gloves. While yes, people wear rubber gloves in the kitchen, Paris turns this garment into a statement, as she’s seen to be rocking a pair of black, fingerless gloves. Also, she boasts a tea-towel that says “Allergic To Bullshit”. Honestly, a fashion icon.
Now, the Australian Masterchef judges are currently in the middle of a switch-up. I would like to propose that Paris Hilton become part of the new series in one way shape or another. Because for the entire 16 minutes, I was hooked.
It’s unclear if this is going to be a series, though she did make sure that she hashtagged “#CookingWithParis”. I surely hope so, because now that I’ve got a taste, I need more.
