Oops, The Unedited Phone Call Between Kanye and Taylor Swift Proves She Wasn't Lying

Well, this is awkward!

It seems as though the drama between Kanye West and Taylor Swift has continued as the full video of their infamous 2016 phone call has been leaked online.

In case you’ve managed to put this call out of your memory, Kanye called Taylor to ask her if he could include a lyric about her in his song ‘Famous’.

The lyric in question was, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.”

When the song first came out, Taylor clearly wasn’t happy about it, her rep at the time claimed the star “cautioned [Kanye] about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b***h famous.'”

Then, while accepting her Grammy for Album of the Year, Taylor had a clear message for Kanye, “I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments and your fame.”

“But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world,” she added.

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, then released video showing that Taylor actually did approve the lyrics and claimed she was trying to play the victim.

Kim said, “She totally approved that,” adding, “She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”

Kim then released video which seemingly confirmed her claims.

However, the full video does indeed tell a different story.

Kanye does ask Taylor for approval of a lyric, however, he doesn’t include the line, “I made that bitch famous.”

In the video, Kanye asks Taylor to Tweet about the song on the day it was released, then tells her it includes a “controversial” line about her.

After dancing around the actual line for some time, Taylor asks if the lyric is going to be “mean” and he finally tells her the line is, “I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex.”

She seems relieved, saying she doesn’t think it’s as mean as she thought it was going to be.

She tells him, “I’m glad it’s not mean, though. It doesn’t feel mean. But oh my God, the buildup you gave it, I thought it was going to be like, ‘That stupid, dumb b***h.’ But it’s not. So I don’t know.

“I mean, the launch thing, I think it would be kind of confusing to people. But I definitely like… I definitely think that when I’m asked about it, of course I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, I love that. I think it’s hilarious.’ But, um, I need to think about it.”
