Of Course The Internet’s BF Keanu Reeves Refused To Yell At Winona Ryder

We must protect him at all costs.

Two words that are guaranteed to put a smile on your dial: Keanu Reeves. The Internet’s unofficial long-term boyfriend has proven (once again) that he can do no wrong after Winona Ryder’s comments about working with Keanu Reeves on the 1992 film Dracula.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Ryder revealed that while filming alongside Reeves, director Francis Ford Coppola asked him to yell at her but he refused.

“To put it in context I’m supposed to be crying,” she said. “Literally, Richard E. Grant, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu…Francis was trying to get all of them to yell things that would make me cry, but Keanu wouldn’t, Anthony wouldn’t…It just didn’t work.”

“I was, like, really? It kind of did the opposite,” she said. Reeves’ decision not to yell at Ryder on-set not only stopped her from crying, but reportedly led to a lifelong friendship between the pair.

Both actors have a mutual appreciation for one another, with Reeves telling People in 2018, “Winona is a lovely person and a talented actress.”

Speaking about their film Destination Wedding, Reeves said, “I think we make a good couple, and I like that it’s a two-hander. To them, nobody else matters, anyway, right? We did something like five eight-minute scenes, which you don’t often get a chance to do in films.”

Speaking of films, hear about how post-pandemic sex scenes will be filmed below:

The impression Reeves left on Ryder is by no means the first time the actor has charmed the pants off his co-stars – or the rest of the world, for that matter.

Last year, Twitter users noticed that Reeves respectfully keeps his hands off women when taking photos with them.

The same year, Reeves was involved in an emergency plane landing in Bakersfield, California so he took stranded passengers on a road trip to their LA destination. He reportedly played music and shared interesting Bakersfield facts along the way.

And far earlier than that – in 2015 – a fan filmed Reeves graciously giving up his subway seat to a fellow passenger who was carrying a heavy bag.

Keanu Reeves really is a blessing to us all and we should protect him at all costs.

Listen Up To Penn Badgley’s Response To Chris D’Elia’s Sexual Misconduct

We can all learn from this.

Last week, comedian and You actor Chris D’Elia was accused of sexual harassment and misconduct by multiple women via social media. This week, Chris D’Elia’s co-star Penn Badgley has responded.

The allegations surfaced after a woman named Simone Rossi tweeted, “I still can’t believe Netflix cast Chris D’Elia as the pedophile in Season Two of You like the literal IRONY.”

Rossi’s tweet went viral and sparked accusations of sexual misconduct from other women, some of whom claimed D’Elia had tried to “groom” them while they were underage.

D’Elia told TMZ, “I know I have said and done things that might have offended people during my career, but I have never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point,” however the accusations had a knock-on effect on the comedian’s career.

Since the allegations hit headlines, D’Elia was dropped by Creative Artists Agency and had his Workaholics episode removed from Hulu, Amazon and Comedy Central.

D’Elia’s You co-star Penn Badgley has also responded to the allegations of sexual misconduct with some comments we can all learn from.

In an upcoming episode of the Los Angeles Times’ Can’t Stop Watching podcast, Badgley said the allegations against D’Elia “affect me deeply.”

“I am very troubled by it,” he said. “I don’t know Chris. I know that, if there’s anything we need to do in this age, it’s to believe women.”

“What is really important is to recognise … the practices, the regulations, the laws that underwrite every one of these systems that act as a haven for the individuals that take advantage, namely white men,” Badgley said.

“There needs to be a change in culture and attitude so that that kind of behaviour is so clearly reprehensible, it’s so clearly, like, anti-human,” he added.

It’s a sentiment that was echoed by D’Elia’s Whitney co-star Whitney Cummings. In a Twitter statement, Cummings wrote, “This is a pattern of predatory behaviour. This abuse of power is enabled by silence. Now that I’m aware, I won’t be silent.”

Both Penn Badgley and Whitney Cummings have a point on Chris D’Elia – staying silent on these issues won’t fix them, and not believing victims will discourage them from coming forward.

A report by Courtney E. Ahrens published in the American Journal of Community Psychology found that “rape survivors who speak out about their assault experiences are often punished for doing so when they are subjected to negative reactions from support providers.”

Ahrens states that negative reactions can “serve a silencing function” leading survivors to stop talking about their experiences at all.

Hear all about the #MeToo movement and latest in the Harvey Weinstein case below:

As psychotherapist Beverly Engel wrote in a 2017 article for Psychology Today, “we need to stop asking why victims wait to report and instead focus on how we can better support victims in their quest for justice and healing.”

Timothée Chalamet Has A New Squeeze, And Hoo Boy, He's Got A Type

They gotta be beautiful, and on a boat.

Timothée Chalamet isn’t just an incredibly talented actor, rising fashion icon and peach connoisseur – he’s also a lover of women and boats. Case in point: these new paparazzi photos of Timothee Chalamet cosying up to rumoured new girlfriend, Eiza González.

The pics, obtained by TMZ, show Chalamet and González sunbathing happily on a yacht. In one pic, the pair kiss, and in another Chalamet appears to be serenading the actress with an acoustic guitar. How romantic.

You might recognise Eiza González from 2017’s Baby Driver or 2019’s Fast & Furious spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw.

It looks like Chalamet and González are pretty loved up, and honestly speaking – who wouldn’t be if you looked like that and were lazing about on a luxury boat in Cabo San Lucas?

However, there is one detail that cannot go unnoticed. Last September, Chalamet was spotted on yet another boat, wearing yet another pair of bold shorts, kissing yet another beautiful woman. His ex-girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp.

The photos of Chalamet and Depp playing tonsil hockey on the back of a boat went viral and birthed dozens of hilarious memes. Sadly, it was widely reported that the pair had split up in April this year after eight months of what we can only imagine would’ve been gloriously intense makeout sessions.

During an April interview with Vogue, Chalamet seemingly confirmed he was single and therefore taking a break from nautical kissing expeditions – however, it appears things have changed in the last few months.

Speaking of exes, hear about the awkward working arrangements on the set of The Kissing Booth 2:

So, what is it about Timothée Chalamet and the combination of boats and beautiful women? Perhaps the actor has a type, or maybe he just loves the finer things in life – like luxury yachts, knee-length cream shorts, and stunning actresses.

Either way, it’s safe to say Timothee Chalamet’s fandom are very happy to see him happy, whether Eiza becomes a new girlfriend or is just a fling.
