Caroline Calloway Is Flogging A New Tell-All, But You'll Have To Pay

Is this another 'one-woman Fyre Fest'?

Remember back in 2019, when we were all cradling a bucket of popcorn while watching the social media trainwreck that is Caroline Calloway have her dirty laundry aired out for the world to see?

Speaking of social media beef, hear about Jake Paul and Gigi Hadid’s feud below:

ICYMI, Calloway – who made a name for herself as somewhat of an Instagram personality –  found herself in the limelight late last year after her frenemy and former ghostwriter Natalie Beach wrote an intense, emotional and at times downright savage tell-all about their relationship for New York Magazine’s The Cut

The essay dived headfirst into toxic female friendships, ego, addiction, and gave insight into the ruthless characters of Cambridge and New York City’s elite, and let me tell you – it was one stinking hot mess. It also exposed Calloway’s ‘creativity workshop’ scam which has since been labelled a “one-woman Fyre Fest.”

In her piece, Beach revealed what was really going on behind closed doors – that she was essentially being used to write the bulk of Calloway’s captions and book proposals, while the Instagrammer spent frivolously and waded her way through addiction and what sounds like quite serious mental health issues.

Fast-forward to this week and Caroline Calloway has finally posted her response to Natalie Beach’s scathing essay – not like she was holding a grudge for six months, or anything.

Calloway’s essay, titled ‘I Am Caroline Calloway,’ is behind a paywall which can be accessed with a donation of at least $10. According to Calloway, 100% of proceeds will go towards Direct Relief – a non-profit organisation providing doctors and first-responders in the States with personal protective gear and medical supplies in the fight against COVID-19.

Since the essay was released, Calloway told her Twitter followers that in two hours she has “raised more than TWICE than what The Cut paid Natalie for her tell-all.” For those who are keen to read the essay, you’ll have to pay, but you’ll also have to provide your date of birth and home address, which some Twitter users find peculiar.

Whether you read it or not, the question left on everyone’s lips is: is this a legitimate response and a way of giving back to charity, or another one of Caroline Calloway’s social media scams?
