Ariana Grande's Teary Mac Miller Tribute Shows The Wound Is Still Raw

"It's just such a beautiful gift I think that he kind of touched the world with."

It’s been nearly two years since Mac Miller’s tragic death and it seems like it still weighs heavily on Ariana Grande, who gave a surprisingly open and emotional tribute to her ex-boyfriend’s legacy.

Speaking of legacies, the GOAT team talk about the passing of Jerry Stiller on ‘It’s Been A Big Day For…’ below:

Appearing on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio show, Ariana Grande chatted to host Zane Lowe about her various music projects and her adoration for Rihanna’s Anti before seguing into a discussion about her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and the legacy he left behind following his premature death in 2018.

The singer had nothing but the highest of compliments for Mac’s music. Perhaps the most notable moment of Ariana’s chat with Zane was how her voice noticeably cracked as she commented on Mac’s qualities.

“He was a person who gave literally every single second of his thoughts and time and life to music. And I think that is so evident in what he has left us with and just how many incredible and different bodies of work.

“It’s just such a beautiful gift that he kind of touched the world with and I think the thing he’d want most is for us to just appreciate it and not forget about it.”

Having become friends back in 2013 before working their way through a relationship where they became lovers to amicable exes, Ariana Grande’s history with Mac Miller means it’ll be difficult to talk about one of them without referencing the other.

This is one of the very rare times where Ariana actually spoke about Mac after his death and based on how emotional she got when paying tribute to him, it seems like the wound is still fresh even after all this time.

Ariana Grande may have since moved on with a Pete Davidson lookalike, but there’s no denying that Mac Miller will forever remain an important person to her.

YouTuber Miranda Sings Sending Lingerie To A Minor Is Just The Tip Of The Iceberg

Grab a LOT of popcorn because this is a hell of a trainwreck.

Get comfortable and get a heap of popcorn because popular YouTuber Colleen Ballinger – aka Miranda Sings – has dropped a wild apology video addressing a heap of controversies that have dogged her over the years, including recruiting fans to work for her without pay, the times where she dipped her toes in the racist and fat-shaming pools, and sending lingerie to a minor for some inexplicable reason.

The tea is absolutely scalding here and arguably rivals the time Shane Dawson claims to have never boned his cat.

Speaking of giant messes, the GOAT team talk about Ellen DeGeneres’ fall from grace on ‘It’s Been A Big Day For…’ below:

There’s a lot to breakdown in Miranda Sings’ bonkers 13-minute apology video but let’s start with the biggest elephant in the room: sending lingerie to a minor, which weirdly ties into the other issue of her recruiting fans to work for her for no pay.

Miranda Sings was recently called out for it by a 17-year-old fan, Adam Mcintyre, who accused her of not paying him for creating content for her and for sending him lingerie in the mail, which is super creepy since he’s a minor. The YouTuber attempts to explain in her apology video that she often gives away odd items and clothing to fans and failed to see how giving underwear to a kid could be problematic.

“It was completely stupid of me. I should have never sent that. I don’t know what part of my brain was missing at the time that I thought, ‘Oh, this is a normal, silly thing to do.’ I should’ve realized and recognized how dumb that was and never sent it to him no matter how much he asked. But it was never a sneaky, creepy, gross thing that I was doing in secret.”

Gross doesn’t begin to cover it, champ.

Shoehorned in that bizarro explanation is confirmation that she does indeed recruit fans to do unpaid work for her but the YouTuber says she cut ties with Adam after he posted something “problematic.” Clearly this was in response to Adam’s vlog titled “colleen ballinger, stop lying.”

That’s just the tip of this messy saga as we still have the fat-shaming and racist stuff to get to.

The racist accusations refer to a recently-surfaced video that was shot over decade ago where Miranda Sings and her sister pretended to be Latina “completely based in racial stereotypes,” something which the YouTuber now says “is not funny” and is “completely hurtful” in her apology video before blaming her ignorant teen self for doing it.

“I am so ashamed and embarrassed that I ever thought this was okay. I was a sheltered teenager who was stupid and ignorant and clearly extremely culturally insensitive.”

As for the fat-shaming stuff, that refers to another video filmed over a decade ago where Miranda Sings made fatphobic comments about a woman who sat next to her on a flight. Addressing the issue, the YouTuber says in her apology video that she was “shocked and appalled that these things were coming out of [her] mouth,” how that “is not the woman who [she is] today,” and how she’s an advocate for women and women’s bodies.

The whole thing is a wild fustercluck of a mess and it makes one question how Miranda Sings has managed to get away with so much crap for so long. Anyway, the entire trainwreck is here for your viewing pleasure, if you can stomach it.

This apology video from Miranda Sings not only hammers home how much of this mess could’ve been avoided had she, you know, used common sense, but also just how increasingly insincere YouTube apologies are.

Yes YouTubers are technically addressing the controversies lobbed at them in these vids, but they’re usually doing it in a way where they ultimately don’t accept responsibility for their actions. And then there’s the issue of posting said apology video on their YouTube channel where it can be monetised. Hard to find the sincerity in an apology when it is done for clicks and attention.

So good on Miranda Sings for talking about what a racist, fat-shaming, sending-lingerie-to-minors POS she’s been. Just don’t expect us to take this “apology” seriously.

IKEA Asks Customers Not To Masturbate In-Store, Cos It Happened

Taking the meaning of DIY to unhygienic levels.

There’s a time and place to get your fap on, like in the privacy of your bedroom. For one woman in China, she decided that the perfect time and place to get masturbating is in the middle of a busy IKEA.

Speaking of masturbating, the GOAT team talk about how the good things Pornhub has been during for COVID-19 relief on ‘It’s Been A Big Day For…’ below:

Clearly preferring the well-ventilated open spaces and fapping equipment available in IKEA stores, a woman in China was filmed masturbating on various pieces of in-store furniture at an undisclosed branch and the video proceeded to go viral after being shared online.

Unsurprisingly, IKEA wasn’t particularly pleased with how this woman rubbed herself all over their in-store furniture and issued out a strongly worded statement (via AFP). The DIY giant said “We resolutely oppose and condemn this kind of behavior, and immediately reported it to the police in the city of the suspected store.”

While IKEA didn’t confirm which branch this viral masturbation video was filmed, it did state it will be implementing “even more careful security and public cleanliness measures” while encouraging customers to “browse stores in an orderly and civilised way.” That’s perhaps the nicest way anyone has issued out the warning, “stop jerking off all over our furniture, please.”

China also wasn’t too fond of this IKEA masturbation video going viral and went to painstaking lengths to scrub it from the internet, though not before millions of people managed to watch some random woman get her rocks off in public.

IKEA didn’t release many details about this public fapping video but the internet managed to draw a lot of conclusions and raised some very interesting points. Folks noted the the lack of face masks being worn meant that the video was filmed prior to the COVID-19 lockdowns, and her Cantonese suggests she visited a store in South China’s Guongdong Province.

Most hilariously, people note just how oblivious other IKEA shoppers were of this half-naked woman going to town on herself all over the in-store furniture. Very good point. Either folks were just trying to ignore her or they honestly didn’t notice the epic public masturbation sesh going on before them.

GOAT spoke to some experts about the very topic of masturbating (but not on IKEA furniture) on ‘Thinking Between The Thighs’:

To be fair, IKEA is all about “doing it yourself” so it was only a matter of time before someone took that a step beyond just putting furniture together.
