The online streaming service has announced a new Christmas-themed show called Merry Happy Whatever and, based on the name alone, it’s a whole vibe.

Specifically, it’s my whole vibe because grouchy is my personal brand #noshame.

The show is set to launch on Netflix on November 28 and stars small names like Dennis Qaid and Ashley Tisdale. You may have heard of them?

Merry Happy Whatever is a dark comedy and has only eight episodes in the season. According to Deadline, the series follows a father (AKA Dennis) “who must balance the demands of his complicated family with the stress of the Christmas season when his youngest daughter comes home for the holidays with a new boyfriend.”

Apparently, the show has been pitched with potential future seasons in mind. The first season takes place over the week or so around Christmas, and additional seasons would possibly explore other holidays.

An official trailer is yet to be released, but you can check out the 17 second mark (and the 31 second mark) of the below video for a lil’ snippet:

I have a very important question: what does one eat when binge watching a Christmas TV show? My normal go-to is Maltesers, tea and breakfast cereal, but Christmas pudding and hot cocoa feels more appropriate for this bad boy.

And I’m not mad about it.
