Falcon And Bucky Are Getting Their Own Show On Disney's New Streaming Service

They've outgrown Cap and they're ready for their own adventures.

According to Varietya Falcon/Winter Soldier limited series in in the works over at Disney. It’s being developed for their new streaming platform, and Malcolm Spellman, who has previously written for Empire, has been hired to write it.

We already knew that we had Marvel TV shows to look forward to on Disney’s new platform, but this is the first one to find a writer.

We previously wrote that Disney planned to develop six to eight episode limited-run shows revolving around fan favourites – characters who are popular but not quite popular enough to receive their own standalone series or origin movie, like Loki, Scarlet Witch, or, in this case, Falcon and Bucky.

Unlike Netflix’s Marvel shows, these shows will have budgets that rival the budgets of the Marvel movies, and the original actors are expected to reprise their roles.

This news comes just one week after the news that Netflix had axed Luke Cage. Some fans have speculated that Netflix cancelled the show so it could be picked up by Disney’s streaming service, but there have been no reports to that effect. We can live in hope, though.

Get ready to subscribe to yet another streaming service when these babies hit the web.

Check Out This Doozy Of A Spoiler Of Gwyneth Paltrow From The Upcoming Avengers Movie

Pepper to the rescue.

Warning: this article contains spoilers.

A photo of Gwyneth Paltrow in costume on the set of the upcoming fourth instalment in the Avengers franchise has leaked, and it’s got fans in a tizzy.

The on-set photo essentially confirms that Pepper Potts’ superhero alter-ego, Rescue, will appear in the fourth Avengers movie.

Diehard fans won’t be surprised by the reveal, but for the many Marvel fans that just watch the movies, it’ll definitely be a shock to see Pepper in her own superhero getup. On the other hand, considering her performance in Tony’s suit in Iron Man 3, maybe it won’t be such a surprise.

So without further ado, I present to you:

A photo of the as-yet-unreleased action figures posted online earlier this week suggested that Rescue would make an appearance, as did an earlier selfie of Paltrow in motion-capture gear, and this on-set photo of Paltrow confirms it.

In the comics, the Rescue suit is red and silver, and was created by Tony in secret. Pepper stumbles upon it one day after finding a secret room in her Stark Industries office.

Marvel and Disney are super-strict about leaks to avoid exactly this kind of thing, so a reveal like this is rare. Enjoy the spoilers while you can!
