Since Married At First Sight ended a few months ago, you’d be forgiven for not having kept up with the ‘stars’ of the show. But this was so weird, we had to share.
Bronson Norrish, who was partnered up with Ines Basic and had possibly the worst time on the show, has shared a very odd photo and we can’t stop thinking about it.
The former reality star took to Instagram while in Bali to share a photo of himself which, at first glance, seems pretty normal. However in the background you can see someone performing “sterilisation surgery” on a puppy – not the usual background of a holiday snap.
Bronson wrote, “Today was a great day performing sterilisation surgery on puppies in the garden… #desex #prevention #raisingawareness @act4balidogs.”
While it’s a great cause that he’s trying to promote, people were more focused on the strange photo of himself.
One user commented, “And you strike a pose??” While another added, “Weird place for a selfie. Cringe.” Someone else wrote, “Is this not the strangest insta post in the world?”
Act4BaliDogs, the organisation he tagged, describe themselves on Patreon as, “[Two] girls in Bali with a house full of dogs. Our focus is on rescue, rehab, and rehoming dogs who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected on the streets. We believe in changing the lives of animals here every day, in anyway we can.”
“Join us as we vaccinate, sterilize, and educate the local community.”
While many thought the post was weird, there were many others who recognised it was a very important cause.
Since sharing that photo, Bronson revealed he has fostered nine puppies and is trying to find them all permanent homes.
One fan commented, “Great to see you using your 15 mins for a world of good. It seems a lot of the others are out for all the freebies they can get!! Well done you Bronson. One of the good guys.”
Many others shared similar sentiments so it would seem that although his initial delivery of the message was pretty strange, he got it across loud and clear in the end!
