It’s no secret that Justin Bieber has had his share of struggles over the last few years. Now he’s shared a long, soul-searching post to Instagram detailing what he’s gone through and how his marriage to Hailey Bieber has helped him.
The singer‘s note starts off well enough but everything goes a little weird when it gets to the marriage stuff towards the end. And let’s not even get started on the Jesus stuff in the very last sentence because that’s a Pandora’s box we don’t want to open.
There’s no denying that Bieber has had his share of issues ever since the fame spotlight shined on him when he was 14. It isn’t easy to be one of the most scrutinised people in the world and good on him for trying to find some direction in life in order to cope, honestly.
But here’s the thing Justin, you can’t blame everyone for your own actions. You have to take responsibility for all those times you did dumb stuff, like feuding with Marilyn Manson, picking fights with Tom Cruise and being an irresponsible pet owner.
More over, marriage isn’t the magical solution to your problems. Sure you may be leading fulfilling spiritual life and your marriage may be going well but that doesn’t fix every other broken part. Relying on someone else to fix you isn’t going to work.
And reading through the note, if you’re going through so much stuff right now and still figuring your own baggage out, is marrying Hailey really the wisest move at the moment?
The whole thing reads less of a reassuring message and more of a young man who is deluding himself from the truth of what’s going on in his life and the fact that his marriage may or or may not be the thing he needs right now.
