Gwyneth Paltrow has been part of the MCU since 2008’s Iron Man and has since appeared in another six Marvel movies. However, she’s making it very clear she hasn’t watched any of them after forgetting multiple people she’s co-starred with and the movies she’s actually starred in.
This time, she forgot that Samuel L. Jackson was part of the MCU as Nick Fury (AKA the guy who brought the Avengers together in the first place), despite the fact he’s appeared in most of the movies she’s also been in.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige revealed to Empire that he and the rest of the cast had to inform Gwyneth of the fact while they were shooting Tony Stark’s funeral scene.
“Gwyneth Paltrow [was] asking why Sam Jackson was there, and the other actors [were] jumping in saying, ‘What are you talking about? He’s Nick Fury! You’ve been in movies with him.’ But it was really something special.”
During an appearance on Jon Favreau’s The Chef Show, the director and actor had to remind her she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming and co-starred with him in it.
The video is actually very funny because she refuses to believe him at first.
She’s also proven she has no idea what Tom Holland’s name actually is after putting up an Insta post of herself, Tom and Robert Downey Jr with the caption, “I love April 4th because it was the day god gave us @robertdowneyjr HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear heart. Love me and that other guy in the photo.”
She’s also previously been caught asking Chris Pratt who Sebastian Stan is on the red carpet for the Infinity War premiere. Watch the video here:
At first, we thought there was the possibility of her trolling people, but now, it’s getting pretty obvious she doesn’t watch any Marvel movies…
