Tom Holland Reveals Gwyneth Paltrow Has Actually Forgotten Who He Is Multiple Times

That's awkward...

Spider-Man star Tom Holland seems to be a pretty likable guy judging from what he’s like in interviews, as well as the fact that he’s basically a superhero himself.

But apparently, that’s not enough for Gwyneth Paltrow to remember him with the young star revealing in a Marvel trivia video with Popsugar that she forgot him on Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Endgame sets.

“I mean, I’ve only worked with Gwyneth one time, on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which she doesn’t remember. Which still to this day breaks my heart,” he said.

ICYMI, it was revealed Gwyneth didn’t even realise she was in Homecoming until Jon Favreau reminded her while shooting The Chef Show.

Tom quickly realised he’d worked with her another time and added, “Actually, no that’s not true [that they only worked together once]. One time when we were shooting Avengers: Infinity War I think it was – no it was Endgame – she was in her blue suit and I was in my Spider-Man suit.

“And she came up and asked me for my photo, with me and Robert. And then I think she posted it, ‘Robert Downey Jr, myself, and this guy.’ I was just the guy.”

Zendaya joked that she’d obviously forgotten his name, which, when you see Gwyneth’s caption for the photo makes total sense.

It reads, “I love April 4th because it was the day god gave us @robertdowneyjr HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear heart. Love me and that other guy in the photo.”

In case you also forgot about Paltrow’s appearance in Homecoming, here it is:

It’s not the first time Gwyneth has forgotten an MCU star, at the premiere for Infinity War she asks Chris Pratt who Sebastian Stan is, watch the video here:

It would seem that Gwyneth is either not a very big Marvel fan and only watches the movies she appears in for longer than two minutes, or – and we would love if this was it – she’s simply trolling everyone.

You Won't Look At The Spider-Man Suit The Same Way After Seeing This Photo Of Tom Holland

This makes me uncomfortable...

Here’s something I literally never thought about – how does Tom Holland enjoy a drink when he’s wearing the Spider-Man costume?

Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts has answered that question with a photo he shared of Tom on set and now I’ll never be able to look at the Spidey suit the same way ever again.

It turns out the easiest way for Tom to drink anything is to take out the eye pieces and go through the eye holes with a giant straw!

It kind of looks like he’s crying coffee…

The photo was shared ahead of the movie’s premiere with Watts asking Tom if he was “excited” for it.

The movie is a follow up from Avengers: Endgame and the story seems to focus a lot on Tony Stark’s sacrifice to destroy Thanos.

It’ll also show the aftermath of the Snap which turned Peter and his friends into to dust in Infinity War.

Zendaya, who plays MJ in the movie, told Fandango it brings the characters closer together:

“[The Snap] kind of puts our characters in a special place, because now we come back and the world’s kind of changed, and we all have to kind of depend on each other a little bit more, because we’re like the oddballs now.

“We kind of have to confide in each other with that experience, and that’s cool.”

Perhaps this is even what draws MJ and Peter closer together romantically?

The friends will have to find their bearings in a world that went on without them in the five years since Thanos’ Snap.

The early reviews for the film reveal it’s a fun and satisfying sequel to Homecoming, but it might be a little long. Some are even calling it the perfect follow up to Endgame, that’s enough to get excited, right?!

The movie also has a 90 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the moment, while Homecoming sits at 92 per cent.

We can’t wait to check out the movie when it’s released on July 4.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Never Intended To Include A Stan Lee Cameo And The Reason Makes Total Sense

And not for the reason you might be thinking...

The Infinity Saga, the 23 Marvel Cinematic Universe films to date, will conclude with Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Avengers: Endgame might feel like the natural end to the Infinity Saga, but Far From Home wraps up the story and sets up the next MCU films going forward.

One tradition that’s always featured in a Marvel film has been Stan Lee’s cameo, and that won’t continue with Far From Home, and no, it’s not because of the Marvel creator’s passing.

Lee’s last cameo was in Endgame, where he is seen driving past the facility that created Captain America, saying soldiers should make love, not war.

That cameo was intended to be Lee’s last cameo and there was never an intention to feature him in Far From Home according to director Jon Watts.

In an interview on the ReelBlend podcast, Watts was asked if there was ever a plan to include a cameo and he said, “No. I mean, I think everyone sort of knew that he was sick and he had just filmed the cameo for Endgame.

“I think they shot that earlier, too. So I didn’t want to… It felt right for the last thing to be in Endgame. So we never really talked about it, honestly.”

And in all honesty, that makes total sense, Endgame did feel like the right time for Lee’s last on-screen appearance as it was the ending of everything that first started with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) trying to get the Avengers Initiative off the ground.
