What is going on with all the weird outfits these days?
There was that unrealistic bikini that’s made for women who, well, don’t have a labia, and this ridiculous backwards bikini that looks like someone stapled some luggage straps to cloth.
And now we have a new entry from ASOS to the weird outfit list that’s best described as a fusion of Aladdin‘s torso-revealing vest and Jerry Seinfeld’s puffy pirate shirt.
Hey ASOS, Kramer and Aladdin called and they want to know why you’ve been rummaging through their closet.
And since looking weird isn’t enough, ASOS is also calling this top a “bralet with sheer balloon boho sleeves”. They can it whatever they want because all it does is remind me of this:
Needless to say, this magnificent little number is getting absolutely roasted online by fashion parody account asbos_sos, who wrote this gem of a caption: “When there’s aladin ur DMs and he wants to see ur magic carpet.”
Take a bow, asos_sos, because that’s gold.
It didn’t stop there as the pile on continued in the comments as people chimed in with their own thoughts, such as “student’s degree show outfits” and “I’d rather be the Little Mermaid.”
Props to ZYA for trying something new with this outfit but let’s be honest, it’s something not even Princess Jasmine can manage to pull off.
