'Wonder Woman 1984' Sends Clear Message To Fans With Stunning New Poster

Gal Gadot is a goddess.

While it seems as though every movie that was scheduled for release in the near future has been pushed back due to COVID-19 fears, there is one shining light amongst it all – Wonder Woman 1984.

That’s right, Diana Prince is here to save the world yet again with Warner Bros sending the very clear message that Wonder Woman 1984 will still be going ahead with its scheduled release date of June 5, 2020.

This message comes in the form of a truly stunning new poster for the film, check it out:

Is this not the best movie poster you’ve seen in a long time? Gal Gadot is a true goddess.

We are still two and a half months away from the scheduled release date, so we can only pray that the COVID-19 situation will be under control by then and we can actually go to the cinema to watch it.

However, the timing of the release does seem to indicate Warner Bros is pretty keen to stick to that June date, at least for now.

It’s possible that this is because the film was originally meant to be released in November 2019 before being moved to June 2020 in the hopes it would mirror the success of the first movie’s release in 2017.

The other posters for Wonder Woman 1984 have been equally beautiful, like these character posters released in December:

In the film, we see Diana reunite with her first love Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), though we don’t really know how that happens exactly. She also becomes friends with Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva, before Barbara transforms into the villain Cheetah.

At this stage, we’re not entirely sure how Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord fits in, but we can’t wait to see it all unfold.
