Nikki Webster Reveals Plans For A New Album And Doc, Our Time Machine Worked

“I do have music there.”

Nikki Webster is known for two things: being the flying girl at the 2000’s Olympic opening ceremony (#ICONIC) and Strawberry Kisses.

Well now, Nikki is all grown up and truly moved on from singing alongside cartoon robots in crop tops, but she isn’t quite done making music. Nikki Webster popped in to chat with The Babble and revealed, although it’s been a while, she has a whole album finished and ready to go.

“We have no hope at all, but we’re going to try: Do you think you’ll record music again?” Matty J asked.

“Yeah, well I have. I have recorded music, I’ve recorded a whole album that I love and it’s very fun but I just haven’t released it.”

You’re telling us that Nikki Webster – the Nikki Webster – has been sitting on an a new album, a goldmine all this time and hasn’t let us know? Our 10-year-old selves are screaming right now.

Nikki went on:

“It’s fun, it’s pop, it was at a good time in my life, and I wrote some really kind of different songs with some writers over in Nashville and we wrote a whole album.

“I went to write one song and I ended up loving being there and completing a whole album. I do have music there, it’s just how to release it and when.”

When? We know when: last week! C’mon Nikki, give the people what they want.
