Justin Bieber Asks James Corden How Much He Regrets 'Cats' And His Answer Is Surprising

Cat's out of the bag!

Justin Bieber has asked James Corden the question on all of our lips – does the actor regret appearing in the movie Cats?

The question came up during a game of Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts on The Late Late Show where Corden and a celebrity must truthfully answer a tough, usually personal, question or eat something disgusting.

Bieber asked, “On a scale of 1-10, how much do you regret doing Cats?”

And, surprisingly, Corden answered!

He said, “So, one is the least and 10 is the most. Well, here’s the thing, I had the loveliest time making that film. It took me six days and I loved every single second of it. So, I think you’ve got to be careful not to… you’ve got to decide things on your own personal experience, and I had a really great time.

“So, I don’t regret doing it at all because I decided to do it in the same way I decided to do many things. Some have worked, some haven’t. So, I’m gonna put it at a solid five.”

Following some laughter from the audience, he changed his mind, amending the number to “four point five.”

But that doesn’t make much sense if he said he didn’t regret doing it at all and then essentially said he did kind of regret doing when he rated it as a four point five?

Doesn’t that mean he regrets it a medium amount?!

Watch the moment here:

Cats was mocked by both critics and viewers alike from the moment the first trailer dropped online and showed the actors in character.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the movie only made $73 million worldwide, not coming close to its reported $95 million budget.

Corden and his co-star Rebel Wilson even made fun of the film at the Oscars, getting onstage in costume as their characters and joking, “As cast members of the motion picture Cats, nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects.”

Let’s just try and forget the movie exists, shall we?

It's No Surprise The 'Friends' Cast Is Returning When You Know What They're Getting Paid

"Oh. My. God."

It’s been more than 15 years since Friends‘ final episode aired, however, the show’s popularity only increased in the years since with its availability on Netflix in the US and Stan in Australia.

While we’ve been hearing rumours of a reunion episode for years now, it’s now finally official with Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow all confirming their involvement.

The cast is set to return for an unscripted special with HBO Max, who will own the streaming rights to the show in the States.

And they’re getting paid a silly amount of money for it.

Sources have told Variety that each of the six stars will receive at least $2.5 million for participating in the reunion special.

It almost sounds like chump change when you consider the fact that the cast earns around $20 million each a year in royalties from the show yearly according to a report by USA Today.

The reunion will mark the first time all six Friends cast members will be together publicly since the show ended.

Variety reports the special will air exclusively on HBO Max and will appear in May when the streaming service launches.

Kevin Reilly, chief content officer at HBO Max and President of TBS, TNT, and truTV said in a statement, “Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire ‘Friends’ library.”

He added, “I became aware of ‘Friends’ when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.”

Friends executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane will executive produce the special which will be directed by Ben Winston. The cast will also serve as executive producers.

The special will be recorded at the Stage 24 soundstage at the Warner Bros. Studio Lot where Friends was originally shot.

It will be a celebration of the series and not a scripted episode, which, honestly, sounds perfect.
