Hugh Jackman's Perfect Response To Seeing A Shirtless Kumail Nanjiani As Wolverine

Amazing.

Hugh Jackman’s incredibly ripped physique as Wolverine has inspired many to follow in his footsteps and more recently Kumail Nanjiani has recreated one of the character’s looks to showcase his own amazing body transformation as he works on Marvel’s The Eternals.

And of course Hugh had the perfect reaction.

Kumail first stunned fans in December with his transformation for The Eternals and now he’s appeared in a photoshoot for Men’s Health magazine where he’s recreated iconic moments from movies like Top Gun, American Psycho and Die Hard.

However, his Wolverine recreation might be our favourite, swipe through the photos to check it out:

It should come as little surprise that Hugh Jackman offered his tick of approval for the shoot during an interview with Fox News, who showed him the images.

Clearly impressed, Hugh said, “Wow! That really looks like the set. That is so cool. … If you’ve done all that work, get your shirt off!”

Taking to Instagram in December, Kumail revealed his transformation writing, “I never thought I’d be one of those people who would post a thirsty shirtless, but I’ve worked way too hard for way too long so here we are. You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

“I found out a year ago I was going to be in Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ and decided I wanted to transform how I looked. I would not have been able to do this if I didn’t have a full year with the best trainers and nutritionists paid for by the biggest studio in the world.

“I’m glad I look like this, but I also understand why I never did before. It would have been impossible without these resources and time. So big thanks to @grantrobertsfit who started working with me at the beginning of the year and made me understand true physical pain for months and months.”

He also thanked his wife Emily Gordon, joking, “The biggest thanks goes to @emilyvgordon for putting up with me complaining and talking about only working out and dieting for the last year. I promise I’ll be interesting again someday.”

Kumail stars in the film as Kingo, a Samurai swordsman and Bollywood film star.

He stars alongside Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek and many more.

The Eternals hits cinemas on November 6, 2020.
