There have been a few great things to come out of 2019 – Baby Yoda, Harry Styles’ entire energy and of course, Lady Gaga’s incredibly sassy tweets.
In the last few months, Gaga has treated us to a range of weird and wonderful tweets – she asked “what’s fortnight?” proclaimed she’s “calling my next album ADELE,” and even shaded her own album, claiming “I don’t remember ARTPOP.”
Whether Lady Gaga was merely stirring the pot and throwing shade at her album just for the sake of it (likely), has genuinely forgotten about ARTPOP (unlikely), or is celebrating the album’s six-year anniversary in a very weird way (who knows), we’ll never know.
This week, Gaga’s Twitter sass reached its peak when she posted a conversation with her assistant:
“My assistant: when’s the last time you bathed
Me: I don’t remember.”
The singer also hashtagged #LG6, making reference to working so hard on her sixth studio album that she hasn’t been able to take a shower.
Can someone get this queen a wet wipe, stat!?
It’s no surprise that Gaga is too busy to bathe. All the way back in March the singer tweeted: “Rumours I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.”
Nine months have passed since then, so if she is, indeed, preggers with the album it should be dropping any minute now – much to the delight of hounding fans.
Gaga is full of surprises. Just this year, it came out that the singer had been trolling us with her 2008 banger ‘Poker Face’ all along. Apparently, Lady Gaga isn’t actually singing “P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face” every single time. If you listen carefully, she’s actually singing “f**k her face” on every second repetition of the phrase during the chorus.
Here’s hoping LG6 slaps as much as her last five albums and Gaga gets to take a nice, long, hot shower when it’s all over.
