Home Alone is a classic, there’s no doubt about it. It fulfilled kids’ fantasies of what it would be like to be wait for it…HOME ALONE.
(And also warned us about the inherent pain of aftershave.)
But 28 years later, those kids have grown up and have had to face the hard realisation that the world isn’t all eating ice cream, bingeing adult movies and whimsical, life threatening “pranks”.
Who are we kidding, it is that except with real consequences like having to look at yourself in the mirror afterward.
However dear friends, Google’s latest ad for their ‘Home’ range of products brings back Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, footage from the original and combines it all with a modern spin.
Also we’re glad they recreated the first Home Alone and not the second because bumping into Trump would be less than desirable.
