Australian Veronica Mars fans can officially breathe a sigh of relief, because Stan has announced the new season will appear on the streaming service from July 27.
That’s right, Marshmallows, all the new episodes will be available for you to easily access through the streaming service, which also features all of the original episodes of the show.
Kristen Bell announced the news of the next season on Instagram last year. She wrote, “Attention all Marshmallows: BREAKING NEWS!!!!! We are OFFICIALLY back in business!!!
“A new #veronicamars series is coming back… Veronica has always been a super hero without a cape. And I think she’s exactly what the world needs right now.
“Thank you to all my fellow marshmallows who stayed excited… I hope we’re still friends after I taser I you.”
A press release for the new season reveals the crime Veronica will be investigating during the eight one-hour episodes:
“Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry.”
“After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”
We cannot wait to see more Veronica and Logan, and of course Keith and Wallace – hell, we’re even excited to see Dick Casablancas!
