Riverdale Actor Denies Connection To Alleged Attempted Murder Case Involving Courtney Love In Extremely Wild Turn Of Events

The case involves a one of Kurt Cobain's guitars valued at millions of dollars.

There’s a new conspiracy afoot in Hollywood, one in which Courtney Love and a band of men are accused of conspiring to murder Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva and steal the acoustic guitar that Kurt Cobain played during Nirvana’s 1993 MTV Unplugged performance. Amongst the men named as accomplices to the attempted murder and theft is young Riverdale Actor Ross Butler, who has been swept up into this mess of a case.

According to reports by The BlastButler vividly denies the allegations made against his character by Silva, but does admit to having visited the house on the night of the incident with Courtney Love’s manager Sam Lutfi.

Silva and Cobain have publicly been fighting over the guitar ever since they divorced, taking it to the courts to settle. Silva currently has legal custody of the guitar after a judge ruled in his favour to keep the instrument in the divorce settlement.

The guitar has no official worth assigned to it, but others from his collection have all gone for over $100,000 USD each and the 1959 Martin D-18 E is supposedly rumored to be worth millions.

As to how exactly Butler is involved in the case is unclear. According to Spin, his only real link to the case is that he was there on the night of the failed attempt. He was picked up by Lutfi and Yan Yukhtman after Lutfi allegedly received some concerning text messages from Silva or Frances and the three headed to the then couple’s home to check in on them.

When they arrived all the windows were covered with blankets and sheets, and no one was answering the door. Butler states that he remained outside while Yukhtman and Lutfi “went to investigate”. After a few minutes the house alarm went off and Butler claims to have heard the front door open and someone calling from inside to him.

Inside Silva welcomed Butler and the two spoke for a few minutes. Butler noted that the house was “messy” and had a “bad odor”. Eventually they all left the scene to get some food, but were halted by police called by a Mr Munsey who had been seen leaving the house earlier on. Butler and the others were questioned and they left.

Butler denies any involvement in any conspiracy to commit a crime against Silva and is calling for the claims to be dismissed. The next hearing for the case is scheduled for December 7th, at which point more info into this bizarre case may come to light.
