Tom Holland Becomes Real Life Spider-Man By Rescuing Fan From A Crowd Trampling

With great power comes great responsibility.

If you know who Tom Holland is chances are you already love him, and if you already love him you don’t need more reason to love him.

But too bad because I’m about to give you another reason: our mate (not really, I wish) just proved he’s the ultimate good guy by saving a fan from being trampled by a crowd in New York City.

Tom’s currently in the big apple to promote Spider-Man: Far From Home, the latest movie in his web-slinging franchise.

When he spotted one female fan on the verge of a panic attack as she was being pushed and shoved by a group of men desperately attempting to get his attention, he stepped in.

The girl in question, called Cass, documented the incident on her Twitter page.

Tom goes full Spidey on their arses:

She also shared a video of the moment which is equal parts overwhelming (crowds = not fun) and impressive (Tom Holland = absolute sweetheart).

In the video Tom can be heard telling the men, “I’m going to throw your s**t on the floor if you keep pushing that girl.”

“I’m literally going to have a panic attack,” Cass says, to which Tom says, “I got you, I got you,” before turning to the men behind her and firmly asking, “Can you back up?”.

Here’s a shot of the crowd from the back to get your claustrophobia really going:

Celebs often talk about loving and caring for their fans but it’s rare you see them interacting with them in a way that really matters. Photos and autographs are fun but are hardly a measure of empathy. It’s nice to remember that not all celebs are fame monsters and that they know how to control a crowd as much as they know how to work one.

Tom’s Holland just proved that genuine care for other human beings is worth more than fame and fortune ever will be.

Also, he totally lived up to the whole “with great power comes great responsibility” thing which is pretty awesome.
