To All The Boys' Lana Condor Trades In Love Letters For Swords In Promo For Upcoming Series Deadly Class

The new SyFy series sees Lana take on the role of teen assassin Saya Kuroki.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star and most relatable woman on the planet right now Lana Condor has traded in her love letters and romance novels for swords and sweet martial arts skills in the latest promo for the upcoming series Deadly Class.

The series, based on the indie graphic novel of the same name, follows teenager Marcus Lopez as he is enrolled into King’s Dominion, a prestigious school that’s best described as “Hogwarts, but make it full of killers”. So kids of organised criminals, assassins, the Yakuza, etc.

Condor plays Saya Kuroki, the object of Marcus’ affections, but also one of the most “deadly” students of the school (or, of the Deadly Class, if you will).

Based on the promo revealed by Lana yesterday,  even the mere thought of Pete Kavinsky is a thing of the past.

This isn’t the first time that Lana has portrayed a comic book character: her debut role was in 2016’s X-Men Apocalypse as Jubilee. And while most of her role ended up on the cutting room floor, her 80s inspired costume and hair? It is a LOOK.

Deadly Class, which is being produced by the directors of Avengers: Infinity War for US network SyFy, is set to premiere in 2019.
