Big Little Lies is one of the best shows we’ve seen in a long time. A lot of that has to do with the female character development as well as the all-star cast. Reece Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz, Alexander Skarsgård and Adam Scott were flawless in the first season.
With Hollywood royalty Meryl Streep in the next season of Big Little Lies, people are already planting the seeds for who else they would like to see join the cast.
Timothée Chalamet is one name that’s come up and he couldn’t be a more perfect choice.
The After presenting Chalamet with the the Spotlight Award at the 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on Thursday, Big Little Lies star Laura Dern gushed about the young Call Me By Your Name actor to Entertainment Tonight.
“We’ve just had an amazing experience working together on this film, Little Women,” she said, referencing working together with both Timothée Chalamet and Meryl Streep on the film.
When jokingly asked if she would be open to having Chalamet writting into Big Little Lies, Dern responded,
“I think we would be very happy to have him. He’s amazing!”
The new series of Big Little Lies will air on U.S. network HBO in June, let’s pray that a season three featuring Chalamet comes our way eventually.
