It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

This Video of Ted Danson Trying To Learn The Floss Dance Is Proof That, Despite Everything Else, We Currently Live In The Good Place

Forget climate change, poverty, oppression, and the existence of Young Sheldon: This video proves that we're in The Good Place.

The world can sometimes feel like a confusing, terrible place. It sometimes feels like we are in The Bad Place, a place destined to make us feel horrible for eternity.

Then something comes along, like a shining light, to prove to us that that, no, this is The Good Place. Everything will be alright. Chin up, because it’s going to be okay.

Today, that something is this video of renown actor and The Good Place star Ted Danson trying to learn the Floss dance, with co-stars William Jackson Harper, Kirsten Bell, and D’Arcy Carden all trying their hardest to teach him.

After The Good Place posted the video to their official Instagram, it was shared again on Kirsten Bell’s own account, and then on Twitter by user harleivy, getting over 180,000 likes and rewteets.

For those catching up: the floss dance is a dance move made popular last year by young viral star Russell Horning (aka “The Backpack Kid”) and has since featured in everything from Katy Perry video clips to Fortnite.

Considering that Ted Danson is old enough to remember when The Running Man was the biggest dance craze, the fact that he’s trying so hard yet failing so beautifully is at once hilarious, beautiful, and an insight into what your uncle will definitely look like after a few too many wines come Christmas.

But really, fellow Good Place star Jameela Jamil speaks for all of us in her post on the video: there is no video that makes us happier than this one. None. You can delete YouTube, as long as we have this.
