Look, we’ve never been subtle in our adoration of The Good Place – just scroll on down if you want to read us ranting and raving about its status as possibly the greatest comedy in the history of finding things amusing.
And if this series has been pretty exposition-heavy so far it’s more than made up for it by making every episode’s ending an cliffhanger so hang-cliffy that the subsequent week’s wait for an episode is almost physically painful.
After EVERY episode. EVERY ONE.
This was especially true of last week where the four human characters were suddenly confronted by Michael and Janet operating an inter dimensional portal, which is not a thing which event caterers typically do.
