The Rescued Thai Soccer Team Release Video To Assure The World They Are OK And It’s The Wholesome End This Story Needs

Meet the brave little heroes from the cave rescue debacle.

For the first time since being rescued from the cave in northern Thailand, the now-famous 12 boys and their young soccer coach have appeared on camera giving their public statements. It’s incredibly good and pure.

The boys appear in a compilation of video messages filmed from their hospital beds, assuring everyone that they’re OK and thanking officials and the rest of the world for the help and support.

The video was released by officials at a press conference on Saturday and it feels very good to see them all in such good spirits.

Seeing as the whole team and coach were food deprived and lost a lot of weight while stuck inside the cave for more than two weeks, it’s no surprise that they’ve all got their minds on some big feeds now that they’re safe and sound.

In the video the boys talk excitedly of the foods they’re most looking forward to eating, from sushi to steak to KFC. Happy feasting boys!

The team also paid an emotional tribute to the ex-Thai Navy SEAl diver Saman Kunan, who tragically died during the rescue mission. Boys were in tears upon learning of his sacrifice and they wrote farewell messages on his portrait, thanked him and promised to be good persons.

All 13 of the brave survivors are tentatively scheduled to be discharged from hospital on Thursday, according to what officials at Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital told reporters at Saturday’s press conference.

It’s looking like a happy ending for the rescue story and we hope that a full physical and mental recovery is fast coming for the whole team and coach.
