TikTok is where the lip-sync kids flocked to when the Musical.ly app changed its name – and the sheer magnitude of genuinely horrific pre-pubescent, God-awful, cringeworthy content only festered from there.
We can’t ignore that TikTok has accidentally produced some genuinely hilarious content, reminiscent of Vine (R.I.P. gone too soon) including the Mariah Carey Obsessed Challenge and when The Americans discovered our greatest Australian export, H2O: Just Add Water, but couldn’t quite nail the accents.
These total flukes nowhere near outweigh the dumbassery, so it seems only fitting that the granddaughter of a serial killer would be on there flexing that her granddad is ‘famous’.
Ally R. Bragg posted a TikTok vid, that showed her in her bedroom saying “Hey, yo, famous relative check.” The TikTok then shows numerous pictures that Ally claims are of her mum (Rose), her grandma (Carole Ann Boone) and Ted Bundy.
In the months before Ted Bundy’s execution, he and Carole Boone were reportedly able to have sex in the visiting room, where their daughter was conceived. Rose Bundy was born in 1982, meaning she would be in her 30s now, and it’s definitely possible that she could’ve birthed a TikTok teenager.
Thanks to Internet investigators, Ally seems to have confessed that the TikTok was totally fake and she was just after some attention.
Regardless if this turns out to be true or not, this case proves there’s no better example of why TikTok deserves to go the way of Angry Birds and Tap Tap Revolution and just… disappear.
