You may or may not have heard about it already, but some very angry Star Wars fans are raising funds to remake Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The fans behind this “remake”, who are Most Definitely Not Mad All At And Actually You’re The One Who Is Mad, have supposedly raised over $30 million for their project. Money that, by the way, is very real and not at all a number that they just pulled from their asses.
I reread your other tweet. So from what I gather you don’t have investors, so Disney would just be entrusting you with the IP in the hopes you do it justice and are able to pay for it. Is that the plan? I’m so curious how this is supposed to work.

To celebrate this milestone, artist Fernando Reza has made the perfect poster to accompany the remake. And it truly does belong alongside the classic posters of Star Wars films past, if I do say so myself.
There’s just so much to love about this absolute beauty of a movie poster. From Luke with his chest out, Conan The Barbarian-style…
…To Finn in a fedora…
…To Rey cooking dinner.
…To Yoda in a frickin’ mech. I mean, this poster has it all.
But easily the best part of this poster is Supreme Leader Snoke, who appears to be giving a PowerPoint presentation about his plan and origin, as he should have in the original.
It truly is the poster this Very Epic And Extremely Real Movie deserves.
