Creating Australian content has been integral to not only showcase our culture to the world but to progress it. With this streaming service Stan has created three series; The Other Guy, The Commons and The Gloaming, as well as the feature film, True History of the Kelly Gang to showcase various people with different lifestyles but all uniquely Aussie stories to the world.
GOAT had the opportunity to sit down with Matt Okine & Harriet Dyer from The Other Guy, Ryan Corr, Joanne Froggatt & David Lyons from The Commons and Emma Booth & Ewen Leslie from The Gloaming about the impact of Australian productions and why it’s essential that we are able to tell our own stories.
The Other Guy season 2 premieres on December 13, The Commons on Christmas Day and The Gloaming on New Years Day.
