The time is finally here, folks. After months of waiting, the premiere of Avengers: Endgame has arrived and that means we can finally get some closure on Infinity War‘s cataclysmic snappening ending.
While the red carpet event was a star-studded affair as expected, complete with Scarlett Johansson and Brie Larson absolutely rocking some Infinite Gauntlet inspired jewellry, the highlight of the Endgame premiere was unquestionably when a heap of stars paid tributes to the late and great Stan Lee.
Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Wong, and Paul Rudd all shared some touching anecdotes about working with Stan, as well as their memories of meeting him.

Sitting with Stan Lee on the set of “Ant-Man” is something Paul Rudd will never forget.

But perhaps the sweetest story about Stan came from Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula in the Guardians Of The Galaxy films. She recalls the first time she met Stan, how he was in awe of all the make-up that was used to turn her into Nebula, and how he went full cheerleader when she told him that she was about to film a big fight scene.
Okay, Nebula actress @KarenGillan has the best Stan Lee story by far ? https://t.co/zGVMqoSwQF #AvengersEndGame pic.twitter.com/3z28YPrYSW

Sorry, be right back, got an Infinity Stone in my eye…
It’ll be a bittersweet moment to see Stan come up on the screen when we all finally watch Endgame since that’ll be one of the final times we’ll see him in a Marvel film.
With Endgame running well over three hours, here’s hoping that Stan gets the final farewell he deserves and plenty of tears will be shed. I sure as hell will be crying.
