New Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Suggests A Romance Is Brewing And Peter's Not Into It

But we're totally rooting for them.

The newest Spider-Man: Far From Home TV spot is teasing a romance between Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) and Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) and we’re so here for it.

The trailer shows that Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr) trusted aid, Happy, will play a much bigger role in Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) solo adventure where he goes head to head with Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

However, it seems Happy isn’t just offering Peter support following Tony Stark’s death, but May as well.

In the spot, May calls Peter to check up on him during his European school trip. During the call, she lets slip Happy’s with her, which is unsurprisingly quite confusing for Peter.

Watch it here:

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony asked Happy to keep an eye on Peter, and at first he saw him as a bit of a nuisance, however, they ended up getting along.

Now, it’s Happy who needs to win Peter’s approval if he’s serious about getting together with May.

This new romance may also prompt questions about Uncle Ben and how he fits into the picture, however, given the timeline, Ben’s death apparently took place about seven years before this film. So, May could very much be ready to move on!

Maybe Peter will have a new uncle soon?!
