The first official trailer for the live-action film adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog has finally dropped, revealing yet another animation faux-pas in the creation of our protagonist.
We thought that Sonic’s oddly human muscularity was off-putting, but we were not prepared to see the furry creature with a full set of human teeth(!!???!!)
Not even James Marsden’s delicious presence is enough to make up for the fact that the animators have given Sonic this dental work.

The overwhelming consensus is that the human teeth situation is weird and people hate it – so how did it get through to this final cut of the film?
Good morning to absolutely everyone and everything other than live action Sonic the Hedgehog’s creepy human teeth xx pic.twitter.com/yJX6WPW7Li

Did no one along the way see the problem here?
i think
this is just me but i think. that sonic would have looked LESS scary with improbably angry real hedgehog teeth pic.twitter.com/KhnqtGFjjm— hokage darkwing returns (@deedubbayuh) April 30, 2019
Is it too late to give Sonic the animal teeth he needs to look less like a furry?

It’s unlikely we will be getting any answers or a reversal of this lapse in judgement, but if you’re keen to see half-human sonic going fast, the film will be in cinemas this November.
