The cast of Saved By The Bell has reunited with Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley, who played Zack Morris, AC Slater, Kelly Kapowski, and Jessie Spano, respectively, coming together for dinner/to simultaneously drive the Internet wild.
The stars of the beloved sitcom took to Instagram to share a photo of the reunion.
Mario captioned the photo, “Friends forever,” while Mark-Paul wrote, “This is what 30+ years of friendship looks like…”
Mario also shared a video of the group after dinner, joking about how they would pay the bill, “Fun dinner tonight with some old friends… We ate an obscene amount of food. Great group right here, now it’s time to play credit card roulette for the bill.”
While it’s been 30 years since the show first aired, many fans commented on how everyone somehow looks even better than they did during the show.
One person wrote, “Are y’all immortal? You all look even better now. Thanks for posting this it made my day!”
Another added, “It amazes me just good all of you still look.”
Others commented on how the photo had “made their year” and that it makes them so happy to see the cast reuniting.
Many others commented on the snaps about how Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond, who played Lisa Turtle and Screech, weren’t invited to mini reunion.
Since finishing up on the show, things haven’t been going so well for Lark, who took to Instagram in 2014 to reveal she was suffering from Lupus. People Magazine also claims something wasn’t right during an interview with the former star, who also reportedly has bipolar disorder.
Radar Online reports Dustin hasn’t been in good standing with the cast of the show after he made claims about their behaviour on the show with sex, drugs and alcohol. They were also uncomfortable when he released his book Behind The Bell as well as his sex tape.
He’s also served jail time and been involved in multiple legal battles. So, let’s just say it’s unlikely he’ll ever be invited to one of these things.
