Australian Satanists Want Your Blood, But It's For A Good Cause, So I Guess Satan Is Actually Alright

Their tagline is "Satan wants your blood, not your soul". It's good to clear that up.

Satanic Australia is running a blood drive this month, in the first instance of a Satanic charity event in Australia.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation and to encourage people to get involved with their local communities. The Satanists are right; blood donation is incredibly important. About one in 30 Australians will donate blood each year, and Australia needs more than 25,000 donations a week.

According to the Red Cross, Satanic Australia has saved 15 lives already thanks to their blood drive.

Speaking to VICE Australiaa spokesperson for Satanic Australia said:

Satanists care for our fellow humans. Since we believe that action is more meaningful than prayer, a blood drive was a logical and appropriately Satanic way to help others out. Especially with donated blood only lasting 42 days on average—there just simply isn’t enough to cover the demand.

Saving lives via blood donation aside, these Satanists genuinely sound pretty chill: they believe in justice, accountability, freedom, autonomy, and mindfulness, and support causes such as access to abortions, voluntary euthanasia, and the separation of church and state. Also, they don’t believe in a literal Satan, but consider him a “potent symbol of rebellion against religious tyranny”.

If these Satanists have inspired you to donate blood, you can make an appointment here. The power of Satan compels you!
