Riverdale star KJ Apa attended Oz Comic Con in Sydney over the weekend and was asked the question we’ve all probably been dying to hear the answer to: who out of his male castmates would he “bang, marry [or] kill”?
A fan asked the question during a panel session at the event referencing Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Cole Sprouse, “Hi! Bang, marry, kill. Casey, Charlie or Cole?”
KJ obviously had no idea what to do with that question at first and started by laughing and saying, “This is so gnarly!”
The moderator jumped in, reminding KJ there were kids in the crowd, so the Kiwi actor opted for kid-friendly answer.
“Yeah, I’ll answer it like this. If I were to marry one of them, I would probably marry Charles (Melton),” he told the crowd, quickly adding, “I’m not trying to bang any of those dudes!”
I will note that he somehow also got out of answering who he’d like to kill, but whatever.
To be fair though, he and Charles would make a pretty cute couple, they’re clearly very close friends if Instagram is anything to go off.
While in Sydney for Oz Comic Con, KJ also spoke to the Daily Telegraph and has fans a little nervous about how long he’ll stay on Riverdale for.
He explained that his true passion is for music and that acting isn’t his “end-game”.
“I never really wanted to be an actor, it was never really something that I actively pursued. I have always been super-passionate about music, that is my first love.
“I love being a part of things that I am super-inspired by at the end of the day.”
He also added that he has new music on the way, but didn’t specify when. So, does that mean he’s willing to leave the show if he can do big things with music?
The actor has never spoken about leaving the show, so hopefully it’s not something that’s in the near future, otherwise, Riverdale fans might riot!
