It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

A Rick And Morty Bar Is Popping Up In Washington D.C. And Every Detail Of The Wubba Lubba Dub Pub Is A Fandom Inside Joke

If there was ever a time and place to get Schwifty, this is it.

Rick and Morty fans are nothing if not dedicated, and this multi-dimensional homage to the show is obsessive dedication at its finest.

The Rick and Morty themed pop-up bar is about to open its doors in Washington D.C. and it’s absolutely tricked out with show paraphernalia, murals, recreations and easter eggs of all sorts that only Real Fans will appreciate.

It is, of course, called Wubba Lubba Dub PUB.

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a drink inside a Rick and Morty church this is probably as close as you’ll ever get to a real life place of worship. The bar has been created by the pop-up specialists at Drink Company, and it’s thorough as hell.

They’ve created the ultimate Rick and Morty experience from Rick’s garage-turned-lab, the iconic Space Cruiser, the Cromulons’ Cygnus-5 expanse, a gang of life-sized Meeseeks, to Real Fake Doors and a rogue box of ‘Time Travel Stuff’.

And you can enjoy it all while sipping on cocktails like the ‘Get Schwifty’ and, my personal favourite, ‘Existence Is Pain’.

Apparently the team came up with the concept on Halloween while dressed as the Council of Ricks (respect).

“The creators of Rick and Morty once said, ‘This show will never punish you for obsessing about it,’” says Drink Company Special Projects Team’s Matt Fox.

They really took that and ran with it.

The best part is you can hang out with other Rick and Morty superfans! And we all know what a treat this fandom can be!

#NeverForget the Great Szechuan Sauce Meltdown’s of 2017.

But actually this bar looks incredible and we should all head to Washington to catch the Wubba Lubba Dub PUB while it’s around between August 16 to October 6.
