Happy Friday to everyone except for the woman reselling used condoms in Vietnam.
Yep, if you’re planning a trip to Vietnam you may want to bring your own rubbers.
Police have seized 324,000 frangers (how many ways can we say condom in this piece?) from a warehouse in Binh Duong where they were being recycled to be sold again.
Workers in the warehouse were being paid to clean the contraceptives and then reshape them on wooden dildos. Side note, wooden dildos are a thing? One would be getting splinters where one should never get splinters.
According to the local news site VN Explorer, the condoms were then being repackaged and resold to the public.
The owner of the warehouse has been arrested and claimed she had been receiving the dingers once a month from an unknown person. Her job after that was to clean, dry and sort the cum catchers (too far?) before making them look fresh again for new customers.
A government official said:
“Condoms are classified as medical items, so we will take a look at the several laws that the owner has broken.”
However, even though police confiscated 360kg (geez) worth of condoms it is unknown how many have already been sent out to the unsuspecting public.
Local reports said they were being supplied to hotels and market stalls near the warehouse. More details about the illegal operation were not released but authorities are investigating the case further.
