Influencer Licks Toilet For A Challenge, Gets A Dose Of Karma And COVID-19

There are no words.

If you don’t believe in karma, now might be a good time to get familiar with that sassy beast because a U.S. Tik Tok influencer has tested positive for coronavirus after he licked a toilet for a social media challenge.

I’ll give you a minute to roll your eyes.

According to Daily Mail, the influencer – known as Larz on Tik Tok – posted a Twitter video of himself licking the rim of a toilet as part of the widely criticised ‘coronavirus challenge.’

Two days later, the 21-year-old tweeted a video of himself in a hospital bed telling his followers, “I tested positive for coronavirus.” His account has since been suspended.

I’ll give you another minute to roll your eyes.

Sadly, Larz isn’t the first person to play russian roulette with COVID-19 in the name of a social media challenge. The whole thing started when fellow Tik Tok influencer Ava Louise licked an airplane toilet in the hopes of going viral amidst the pandemic.

In a truly cringeworthy video, Louise explained why she did it, telling a reporter during Spring Break, “I licked a toilet seat on my sugar daddy’s private plane on my way down here to go viral because I fucking hate old people and it’s their fault that we can’t go to the beach and catch a fucking dick!”

Yikes.

In an interview with Dr. Phil, Louise said people dying from coronavirus is “their problem, not mine,” and told him, “your generation only cares about this virus, because it affects you.”

What Louise, Larz and other people thinking of doing these social media challenges fail to realise is that COVID-19 does not discriminate, and there is already mounting proof of that. It was recently reported that an 18-year-old with an underlying health condition had died of the virus, and medical experts have warned that it is “not simply limited to the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.”

Here about all the coronavirus restrictions below:

Another reality that these Tik Tok influencers are ignoring is the fact that this virus is not about you. It’s about protecting the elderly, those with underlying health conditions, and people who are more vulnerable and at risk.

By ignoring the rules, ‘trying’ to get coronavirus, and flaunting that on social media, you’re not only attracting an absolute shitstorm of backlash, but you’re setting a terrible example, and putting lives at risk. If causing your own, or someone else’s death is worth it for social media clout and attention – there’s a far bigger issue at play here.
