Can Brad And Jen Please Inspire The Rest Of These Celebs To Get Back Together?

Make us believe in love again.

If you’ve been on social media in the last 24 hours you’d be well aware that the Internet really really really wants Brad Pitt and Jen Aniston to get back together after they reunited at the SAG awards.

Listen to the GOAT team break down Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s reunion in the latest ep of It’s Been A Big Day For…below:

Sadly, it sounds like Brad and Jen are destined to stay in the friend zone but that doesn’t mean other iconic celebrity couples can’t rekindle their past romances. Right!?

Here are some famous former flames we wish would give their relationship a second chance:

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens met on the set of High School Musical all the way back in 2005 and made their first appearance as a couple in true noughties fashion at Ashley Tisdale’s birthday party.

The pair dated for a whopping five years but sadly, they couldn’t make it work and split up in 2010. Considering Hudgens recently ended her nine-year relationship with Austin Butler, could Efron be the throwback rebound she needs in 2020? HSM fans would be utterly delighted.

Is there a more romantic film than The Notebook? Nope. Fun fact: Ryan Gosling reportedly ‘hated’ Rachel McAdams while filming The Notebook, but the pair managed to move past their differences and ended up dating from mid-2005 to mid-2007. I know, I know – both McAdams and Gosling are in committed relationships with other people now, but I will always secretly hope they get back together.

If you ever did, or currently do, call yourself a Twihard, your favourite celebrity couple is hands down Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. IRL Bella and Edward dated from mid-2009 until 2012 when Stewart cheated on Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

In 2017, K-Stew said she was “so gay” during an appearance on SNL, and Pattinson has since dated FKA Twigs and Suki Waterhouse…but we can always dream about a Twilight reunion, right?

They were the king and queen of ‘conscious uncoupling’ and now they’re some of Hollywood’s most amicable exes. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow made headlines for naming their kid Apple, and even in 2020, they’re breaking the mould by successfully remaining friends and co-parents. Will their friendship ever turn back into a romance? We can only hope.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2010 and had the relationship of our ~dreams~ until 2015 when it came out they had quietly split. Since then, the pair have remained friends and continue to speak highly of each other in the media. Last December, Stone got engaged to her boyfriend Dave McCary, but I’m still holding out hope she and Garfield reunite one day.

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder

Remember when Johnny Depp got ‘Winona Forever’ tattooed on his arm and later changed it to ‘Wino Forever’ when he split from Winona Ryder? Well, I personally wish he’d never changed his iconic ink. Depp and Ryder were engaged for three years, but sadly they couldn’t make it work. All I want is for this iconic ‘90s couple to find each other again.

I know what you’re thinking – these two could never get back together but to that I ask, why not!? Sure, they’ve lived very different lives since parting ways in 2002, but having known each other since they were little kids on The Mickey Mouse Club, these two have a long history and grew up together in some ways. Perhaps enough time has passed for them to give it another shot?
