Red Dead Redemption Has Been Turned Into A 5-Minute Musical So Now You Can Bop While Watching People Fall Off Horses

Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

The much-anticipated release of Red Dead Redemption 2 was a defining part of last year. We came, we fished, we made horses fly, we made ugly-ass characters, and even significant others enjoyed just watching the game be played.

We owe so much to Red Dead for passing the time and making normal people talk like cowboys, and so it is only fair that the game has been commemorated in musical form.

YouTuber ‘Man at arms’ has done the honour by compiling some Red Dead gaming highlights and putting it to the sweet sound of ‘S.O.B.’ by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

What starts off pretty low-key breaks into some signature RDR2 mayhem just before the one minute mark and seamlessly marries scenes from being bathed and drinking on horseback to being mauled by a bear.

It’s good fun, an absolute bop, and pretty accurately sums up the game.

If watching old mate fall off his horse to the sound of an upbeat tune isn’t for you though, there’s always this morose animated musical version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

It’s more Blink182 than hillbilly rock, but to each their own.

The lesson learned here I think is that the next version of Red Dead should have some musical scoring from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and not just because that is an impeccable band name.
