The Queer Eye Guys Are Heading To Japan For A Fabulous Four Episode Special

We already know JVN is going to love Harajuku.

It was announced yesterday that Netflix’s Queer Eye will be heading to Japan for a special four-episode mini-series set to air later this year.

Following the airing of the upcoming third season of the show, Queer Eye: We’re In Japan! will see the Fab 5 transform the lives of four Japanese people using their expertise in food, interior design, fashion, grooming, and culture.

Series creator David Collins said in a statement:

“In just a year since we launched season one, Queer Eye has become a global phenomenon once again and the Fab Five are truly the ambassadors of self-care and compassion that the world needs now more than ever. Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country.”

This isn’t their first time heading overseas to work their magic. Aussie fans will remember their visit to Yass, New South Wales, last year, where they transformed a local farmer, as well as a local pub.

In typical Fab 5 fashion, the guys are already serving up hot Instagram content from their trip to Japan.

Maybe they could make-over Chiitan, the unofficial mascot for the southern Japanese city of Susaki, who’s been making headlines around the world because of its antics. I strongly feel that Chiitan needs the self-care after being rudely rejected by the city of Susaki. #JusticeForChiitan
