Watch This Aussie Hero Expertly Boot Scott Morrison Off His Freshly Seeded Lawn

"Get off my lawn!"

Picture this: You’re in the thick of a bit of good old fashion home renovation, you’ve been carefully crafting the garden of your dreams, and then BOOM – Scott Morrison and a hoard of journos and film crews rock up to ruin your freshly-seeded front lawn. What do you do?

Well, if you ever find yourself in this highly unlikely situation, take note from this Aussie neighbourhood hero who just told ScoMo and his entire press conference to essentially ‘shove off’ when they started congregating out the front of his house.

Speaking of political faux-pas, hear about Trump’s truly insensitive church photo op below:

This morning, Scott Morrison held a press conference in the small Queanbeyan suburb of Googong. Just as the Prime Minister was about to launch into chat about Australia’s new homebuilder scheme, he was interrupted by a homeowner who yelled, “can everyone get off the grass please?”

Hear that? It’s ‘Ironic’ by Alanis Morisette playing softly in the background.

Things quickly went from awkward to cringeworthy when the media didn’t move quick enough and the homeowner yelled, “Guys, I’ve just reseeded that.”

A little flushed, ScoMo asked the media to “please,” get “off the thing.”

Luckily, the altercation didn’t last too long and the unknown Aussie legend even threw the Prime Minister a “sorry, mate” and a thumbs up so he could continue on with the press conference.

It’s not the first time Scotty from Marketing has found himself smack bang in the middle of an awkward moment. How could we possibly forget when an Aussie firefighter who lost his house in the blazes refused to shake the Prime Minister’s hand earlier this year?

Clearly, these kinds of uncomfortable moments are all in a day’s work for Scott Morrison. I just hope that freshly-seeded lawn in Googong is doing OK in the aftermath of the media frenzy.
