Trump Gets Banned From Video Games AND Put In The Naughty Corner By Iran

Trump is on a time out.

It’s been a big 24 hours for Donald Trump – not only has the President of the United States had his Twitch account suspended, but Iran has issued an arrest warrant for him.

In a statement via CNN, Twitch said, “in line with our policies, President Trump’s channel has been issued a temporary suspension from Twitch for comments made on stream, and the offending content has been removed.”

The ‘offending content’ Twitch spokesperson Brielle Villablanca is referring to is a video of Trump’s 2016 rally during which he called Mexicans ‘rapists and criminals’. Twitch also said Trump violated its policies with a video from his recent Tulsa rally, during which he spoke about a “very tough hombre” hypothetically breaking into the house of a “young woman”, according to CNN.

Speaking of Trump having a bad day, hear about how he got trolled by K-pop stans and TikTok teens below:

Twitch isn’t the only tech platform taking action against Donald Trump. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen Twitter and Facebook label, fact-check and even remove his content and today, Reddit banned a pro-Trump forum as part of a new content crackdown.

It’s not just a bad day for Trump because he’s had his video games confiscated. Iran is intent on putting the President in the naughty corner – and they’re asking Interpol for help.

Aljazeera reports that Iran is accusing Trump and more than 30 other people for being involved in the January 2020 drone strike that killed top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.

According to multiple reports, Tehran prosecutor Ali Alqasimehr has said Trump and others face “murder and terrorisim charges” and “would continue to pursue his prosecution even after his presidency ends.”

Despite calls for Interpol to assist Iran with the request, the organisation has stated that it is forbidden to undertake “any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character.”

“Therefore, if or when any such requests were to be sent to the General Secretariat…Interpol would not consider requests of this nature,” the organisation added, as per Aljazeera. Brain Hook, a US special representative for Iran also described the arrest warrant as a “propaganda stunt.”

“This is a political nature,” Hook said during a news conference. “This has nothing to do with national security, international peace or promoting stability…It is a propaganda stunt that no one takes seriously.”

No word from Trump on any of the above, but we’re guessing there are a lot of these facial expressions being made right now.
