Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell revealed last week she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Matte Babel by sharing this Instagram post:
The star shared a video to her YouTube channel where she shared how difficult it was to keep the secret from her fans. Saying she didn’t want to come out with the news on social media too early saying it’s been “a really lonely journey”.
Now, she’s shared her gender reveal video, which is quite possibly the weirdest thing you’ll see all day.
The pair didn’t have a party for the reveal, it was just for them (and the Internet) and they were just as shocked as we were to find out they were going to find out with a Power Ranger fight.
A blue Power Ranger came out from hiding first, so they thought they were having a boy, but they were quickly joined by a pink Ranger. The pair began fighting and even ended up falling into the pool and almost dying because they couldn’t breathe through their costumes.
The whole thing ended when the pink Power Ranger sat on Shay’s lap to reveal they were having a baby girl.
Shay said to the girl about their almost-drowning, “They couldn’t breathe! I didn’t know if you guys were joking or not.”
To which the pink Power Ranger joked, “No, we were just dying.”
Things were actually a little awkward because it looked as though Matte really wanted a boy. He even asked, “Are you sure? It’s 100 per cent accurate right?”
Seriously, some people have way too much money, I almost miss the balloon reveals.
Given the fact their friends almost died for the reveal, we hope it was worth it!
